Maurice Jones-Drew Injury: Jaguars Running Back Injures Ankle

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew ripped off a 43-yard run earlier in game, his longest run of the season. Right before halftime however, Jones-Drew took a hand off for a short gain, but got up slowly and limped off the football field.

Jones-Drew stood on the sideline without his helmet for the rest of the drive, but Jones-Drew left through the tunnel to the locker room before the end of the half. He is expected to return after the half with the ankle injury, but with the Jaguars being down 27-0 I wouldn't expect to see much of Jones-Drew if the injury is anything serious. Backing up Jones-Drew would be either rookie DuJuan Harris or fullbacks Brock Bolen and Montell Owens.
