Falcons Vs. Jaguars: Dunta Robinson Not A Fan Of Jacksonville’s Wide Receivers

The Atlanta Falcons hammered the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday Night Football, 41-14, so one would expect somewhat subdued postgame interviews. Typically, hard-fought games breed contentious interviews while blowouts, where the starters sit and rest near the end, are calm and relaxed.

But not so on Thursday night, as Falcons corner Dunta Robinson had some choice words for the Jaguars' wide receivers.

"Those guys couldn't get a f***ing WR if it hit them in the head. They haven't had anyone decent since Jimmy Smith. They had Matt Jones? Now, Chastin West? Those guys are f***ing jokes."

Via Charlie Bernstein

Robinson may want to avoid using “wide receiver” and “hit them in the head” in the same sentence, but point taken.

Truth be told, he’s not wrong, but it’s still not a good look after blowing out an opponent. The Jags wide receivers have been terrible -- and injured, but mostly terrible -- but there’s no need to rip into the team after hanging a 27-point loss on them.
