Sam Bradford Injury: Rams QB Expected To Miss Remainder Of Season

The Rams' talented but injury-prone quarterback, Sam Bradford, appears to be done for the season with his high ankle sprain, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Though Bradford may have been able to return by Week 17 — though with a high ankle sprain, you can never be sure — the Rams will elect to let him rest and heal the ankle completely so he's fully healthy for next season, when training camp that isn't cut short with a lockout should do him good.

Kellen Clemens will fill in for Bradford after taking all of the first team reps leading up to Week 14. As Schefter mentioned in his tweet, the Rams seemed poised for a Top 3 draft pick, and considering the startling amount of holes they need to fill, it wouldn’t be a surprise if they traded down to amass talent since they already have a franchise quarterback in place with Bradford.
