Sam Bradford Injury: Rams QB Doubtful For Week 16

St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford did not practice again on Thursday. According to the team, head coach Steve Spagnuolo said that Bradford will be listed as doubtful for the Rams’ Week 16 game in Pittsburgh.

Bradford is still dealing with the high ankle sprain he first suffered in October. He re-aggravated the injury in Week 11, forcing him out for a Week 12 game against the 49ers. It never really healed, but Bradford managed to hobble through it in a rough outing in Week 14 against the Seahawks. He has not seen the field, in practice or for last week’s game, since then. This will be the fifth game of the season Bradford misses.

There has been talk of the Rams shutting Bradford down for the season. Bradford remains optimistic about his chances for playing again, even while team holds to its week-to-week approach.
