St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford did not practice again on Thursday. According to the team, head coach Steve Spagnuolo said that Bradford will be listed as doubtful for the Rams’ Week 16 game in Pittsburgh.
Bradford is still dealing with the high ankle sprain he first suffered in October. He re-aggravated the injury in Week 11, forcing him out for a Week 12 game against the 49ers. It never really healed, but Bradford managed to hobble through it in a rough outing in Week 14 against the Seahawks. He has not seen the field, in practice or for last week’s game, since then. This will be the fifth game of the season Bradford misses.

Bradford missed Tuesday’s practice, but told the media afterward that he isn’t in any sort of hurry to hang it up for the rest of the season (via Turf Show Times):

As Schefter mentioned in his tweet, the Rams seemed poised for a Top 3 draft pick, and considering the startling amount of holes they need to fill, it wouldn’t be a surprise if they traded down to amass talent since they already have a franchise quarterback in place with Bradford.
