Bengals Vs. Rams: Facemask Penalty Leads To St. Louis Field Goal

The St. Louis Rams caught their first break of the game, in the second quarter against the Cincinnati Bengals. Actually, they didn't catch a break, considering it was all something that they created on their own. Defensive lineman Robert Quinn was a man possessed off the line of scrimmage on a Cincinnati punt and got a piece of the ball and the punter, getting a partial block and setting them up with great field position.

Unfortunately, they were eventually set up with a third down and Brandon Lloyd took a toss in the backfield, before being tossed on his back ... on the field. That's when the Rams actually caught a break, because Adam Jones was called for a facemask penalty that didn't seem to actually happen anywhere on the field. The tackle on Lloyd seemed clean, and there was never a replay to speak of.
