Tim Tebow’s Winning Streak Is Over, But The Broncos Still Lead The AFC West

Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos fell behind thanks to an awful second quarter against the New England Patriots on Sunday — two Denver turnovers helped New England run off 20 straight points to finish the first half — and fell for the first time in six weeks, 41-23, snapping a magical run of close victories that many have credited in large part to Tebow's resilience. But the Broncos didn't fall out of the playoff chase with their loss, and still lead the AFC West.

Denver is now 8-6, one game clear of the Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers and two games ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs, who can still, incredibly, win the AFC West with a couple of breaks. The Broncos only meet the 5-9 Buffalo Bills and the Chiefs in the final two weeks of the season, though, and get the Chiefs at home, so winning out to get to 10 wins on the year and comfortably claim the AFC West is very much in Tebow and Co.'s grasp.
