Cedric Benson Hits 1,000 Yard Rushing Mark On Season

Cincinnati Bengals RB Cedric Benson came into Saturday's game against the Arizona Cardinals needing 41 yards to cross the 1,000 barrier for the third consecutive season. He did exactly that in the third quarter.

Benson has 41 yards on 13 carries on the day so far.

He ran for a career-best 1,251 yards two years ago and 1,111 yards last season. Benson is in his seventh NFL season and fourth with the Bengals. That he's done it again with Brian Leonard a big part of the rushing attack is impressive.

On his career, Benson has 5,702 yards on 1,514 carries.

Cincy is also running away with the game, up 24-7 in the third. Andy Dalton is having a fine day, throwing for 148 yards and 2 TDs while Larry Fitzgerald has a touchdown through the air.
