The New York Giants beat their Big Apple counterparts, the New York Jets, by a score of 29-14. Ahmad Bradshaw and Victor Cruz led the way for the Giants offense.
Victor Cruz scored a 99-yard touchdown in the second quarter. That gave the Giants a lead they would not surrender. Running back Ahmad Bradshaw played a big part in the efforts, scoring twice on the ground, despite rushing for just 54 yards. Defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul picked up two sacks, giving him 15.5 for the season.
The Jets defense could not deliver on the truckloads of smack talk that led up to the game. They sacked Eli Manning twice and picked him once. The Jets offense struggled.
