The New England Patriots will line up for Thursday's practice without Tom Brady for the second consecutive day. The Patriots QB took a hard hit to his left shoulder in last Saturday's game against the Miami Dolphins and had an MRI to check up on it.
Tom Brady Injury: Patriots QB Won’t Practice But Expected To Play
Everything checked out on the MRI, according to Tom Curran of CSNNE.com, but Brady will miss his second consecutive day of practice. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Patriots believe Brady will be available on Sunday when they play the Buffalo Bills.
The injury is to Brady’s non-throwing shoulder which means it may not affect his throwing motion significantly. He was seen in the locker room after Saturday’s game favoring that shoulder.
The Patriots have clinched the AFC East but they’re looking to secure home field advantage throughout the playoffs so they still have something to play for in Week 17.
We’ve seen a number of starting quarterbacks go down this year but Brady isn’t one of them. Check out SB Nation’s Pats Pulpit for more on Brady’s injury.
