Steelers Vs. Browns Inactives: Peyton Hillis Active, Emmanuel Sanders Inactive

The Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers released their inactive lists for Thursday Night Football as they square off in an old-fashioned rivalry game. There are no surprises from either side as they prepare to kick off on the NFL Network.

The Browns will have running backs Peyton Hillis and Montario Hardesty active. Both were active last week against the Baltimore Ravens, but Hardesty received no touches for the game. Hillis will likely get most of the carries again as he seems fine following his hip injury. It is not a particularly good matchup for Hillis as he faces a stout Steelers defense.

The Steelers will be without Emmanuel Sanders, as expected. He is recovering from some knee and foot issues and is getting the week off. Antonio Brown will look to step up opposite Mike Wallace in Thursday’s game. The Steelers will also give Lamarr Woodley the game off as they hope to have him ready in time for their Week 15 Monday Night Football showdown with the 49ers.

Browns Inactives: QB Thad Lewis, SS T.J. Ward, OG Steve Vallos, OT Oniel Cousins, TE Jordan Cameron, LB Quinton Spears, and DE Auston English.

Steelers Inactives: LB LaMarr Woodley, WR Emmanuel Sanders, LB Chris Carter, DE Al Woods, OT Jamon Meredith, WR Arnaz Battle and QB Dennis Dixon.
