The Cleveland Browns released DT Shaun Rogers last week and it didn’t take long for him to draw interest around the league. According to reports, Rogers visited the Washington Redskins last week and now news comes out that Rogers is visiting the Kansas City Chiefs on Tuesday.
Interest in Rogers is high because he’s one of a few attractive free agents on the market. With the current labor situation in the NFL, there hasn’t been much player movement. Because of that, Rogers is an attractive commodity with upwards of 10 teams contacting him after his release, according to reports.

As an unrestricted free agent, Rogers is eligible to sign with anyone until March 4, the expiration of the CBA. On that date, there will be no more player movement.
