Aaron Rodgers is a Super Bowl champion now, and that means it’s time for America to fall in love with the newest superstar in the NFL. First up? An appearance on Late Night with David Letterman and (duh) a trip to Disney World.

Here’s the thing, though: you have to think Rodgers was up all night celebrating with his teammates on Sunday, and after playing an entire football game, you’d think, at some point, the guy would need some rest. Like, if you won the Super Bowl and spent the night guzzling cheap champagne, would you really want to go to Disney World the next morning?
Ah, but that’s why he’s a Super Bowl Champion, and I... I, uh, overslept this morning.
And hearing Rodgers on Letterman, you get the sense that it’s going to be fun having this guy around for the next ten years. Here, he smiles, answering Dave’s Brett Favre questions as diplomatically as possible:
“I don’t think it was a distraction, but... I was the guy who took all the reps in the offseason, and he was the guy that took all the reps during the season. So... That’s kinda how it worked out.”
Video of the full interview is after the jump.
Whether he’s talking about his experience going to junior college out of high school, weathering the struggles that came with his first full season as starter, or talking to an injured Charles Woodson at halftime, throughout the interview, Rodgers comes off as an honest, humble, and pretty likable guy. Check it out, because something tells me we should get used to seeing a lot more of Aaron Rodgers these days.
