We all know there are plenty of NFL trade rumors surrounding Philadelphia Eagles QB Kevin Kolb. With QB Michael Vick in place, the Eagles are believed to eventually be trading Kolb and, as of now (it's a fluid situation), the Arizona Cardinals are the smart bet on where he'll land.
Kevin Kolb Won’t Report To Eagles Training Camp As Trade Rumors Linger
With those rumors swirling, Kolb won’t be reporting to Eagles training camp on Thursday whether a deal is in place or not, according to the Phiadelphia Inquirer.
Of course, a deal isn’t done until it’s done. There are a few moving parts that have held the trade up from being finalized, one being a contract extension for Kolb. He has one year left on his contract and the Cardinals would likely want to lock him up long-term after giving up so much in compensation.
It appears that Kolb leaving town is basically a foregone conclusion at this point so there’s no point in him bringing the media circus to Eagles camp.
