Arian Foster Injury: Houston Texans RB Leaves Practice With Tight Hamstring
Arian Foster, the NFL’s rushing champion last season, left Houston Texans’ practice early Friday after pulling up lame and grabbing his leg.
Unsure of the exact nature of the injury, head coach Gary Kubiak excused Foster for the remainder of practice. As for specifics, he couldn’t provide any.
“I don’t know, but he didn’t feel good so I just said ‘Get out,’” Kubiak said. “He went 35, 40 minutes (in practice) and looked great, so I’m hoping he’ll be right back out here. We’ll see.”
Foster remained on the sidelines and declined interviews. He did resurface later for the team’s second practice but his left leg was heavily wrapped. Foster didn’t participate in any drills.
Tight end Owen Daniels and receiver Andre Johnson are also on the mend due to the flu and a dislocated finger, respectively. Battered up, the Houston offense will need some time to heal their wounds before getting to full-strength.
