Patriots Vs. Dolphins Score: Tom Brady Stakes New England To Fourth Quarter Lead

The New England Patriots lost their lead early in the third quarter after a rare Tom Brady interception, then took it back behind two touchdowns from Brady’s unstoppable passing game.

After an interception to Jared Odrick set up a game-tying Miami touchdown, Brady led 73- and 78-yard touchdown drives, capped by throws to Deion Branch and Aaron Hernandez for six, respectively. Those touchdown drives bookended a Dolphins field goal, and gave the Patriots a 28-17 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Brady has a staggering 353 yards through three quarters in Miami, and could well end the earlier of two Monday Night Football tilts tonight as the NFL’s leading passer. Only Cam Newton (422 yards) and Drew Brees (419 yards) had more yards in Week 1 action than Brady already has against the Dolphins, and both racked up those numbers in losses.
