Arian Foster Injury: Gary Kubiak Says Texans RB Is Fine, Wanted To Play

Arian Foster left Sunday's win over the Miami Dolphins, apparently aggravating the hamstring injury that kept him out of the Houston Texans' season opener. According to head coach Gary Kubiak, you shouldn't dump him from your fantasy team just yet. Kubiak said after the game that Foster was held out of the second half with what he classified as "really fatigue more than anything."

“He’s fine. He obviously wasn’t himself and got pretty fatigued. He wanted to play in the second half.”

That's good news, but there are still questions abound regarding Foster. Will he be able to shake his nagging hamstring this season? And even if he can, how much of his workload has already been transferred over to rookie Ben Tate? Tate received a liberal sprinkling of carries in the first half even though Foster was technically the starter. Tate finished with 135 total yards for the game, sowing the seeds for what should be a closely-followed position battle over the next few weeks.
