Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin is expected to sit out the team's Week 3 matchup against the Washington Redskins after aggravating his injured hamstring, according to ESPN Dallas. Austin pulled his hammy late in the Cowboys' overtime win against the San Francisco 49ers. He put up massive numbers during the game, catching nine passes for 143 yards and three touchdowns.
Miles Austin Injury: Receiver Expected To Sit Against Redskins, Possibly Longer
Austin could be out through the Cowboys' early Week 5 bye. Luckily for them, Dez Bryant should be ready to return before then, perhaps by Monday night's matchup. If not, they will have to find production elsewhere, perhaps in the hands of Jesse Holley who had a 77-yard reception down to the one-yard line in overtime to set up the Cowboys' game-winning touchdown Sunday.
