The Arizona Cardinals head to Seattle to take on the Seahawks in an early battle of divisional foes. In a classic matchup of a moveable object (Cardinals defense) against a stoppable force (Seahawks offense) the oddsmakers like Arizona, 1-1 overall, over 0-2 Seattle.
NFL Odds Week 3: Cardinals Vs. Seahawks
The Arizona Cardinals head to Seattle as tight favorites over the Seahawks.

The Cardinals are 3½-point favorites over the Seahawks, with a 28-21 win over the Carolina Panthers being the only favorable thing on their resume. The Seahawks haven't much of anything to positively hang their hat on, especially not after their shutout loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers last week.
Of course, if the Seahawks were to kickstart their offense the Cardinals defense might be the perfect matchup. Arizona allowed a rookie record 422 yards from Cam Newton in his regular season NFL debut. The next week they gave up 455 total yards of offense to Rex Grossman and the Washington Redskins. Overall, they rank among the bottom 10 teams in the league in passing and rushing defense.
Then again, the Seahawks rank in the bottom five for both categories offensively, so maybe their is some hope for the Cardinals’ defense. Seattle needs to fix every aspect of their game, but perhaps foremost is a rushing attack that ranks dead last in the league at just 47.5 yards per game.
This is difficult game to handicap because both teams are still trying to jell new starters together after a shortened training camp. A 42½-point over/under doesn’t offer many easy answers either in a game that could turn into shootout just as quickly as a defensive battle thanks to both teams’ erratic play.
