Beanie Wells Injury: Will Be Gametime Decision Against The Seahawks

Beanie Wells has gotten off to a nice start to the season, with 183 yards and two touchdowns through the Arizona Cardinals' first two games of the season. A hamstring injury suffered in practice threatens to derail him this week, however. ESPN's John Clayton is now reporting that Wells will be a gametime decision against the Seattle Seahawks.

Wells has just 32 carries on the season, prompting quarterback Kevin Kolb to advocate giving the running back extra touches in the offense. If Wells is forced to sit, the Cardinals will be have to turn to LaRod Stephens-Howling, who has just 10 yards on three carries this season.

Wells has struggled to take off in the Cardinals offense in his three years in the league, proving ineffective even when healthy. Here's hoping that his hamstring injury won't turn into a constant distraction, as it has for Arian Foster of the Houston Texans.
