Patriots Vs. Bills: Game Time, TV Schedule, Announcers And More

The New England Patriots and the Buffalo Bills have two of the NFL’s most explosive offenses through the season’s early going. They will face off Sunday in Buffalo.

Two of the league's most explosive teams face off Sunday, and surprisingly one of them is the Buffalo Bills. The New England Patriots head to Ralph Wilson Stadium in what has become an intriguing divisional matchup. The Bills rank first in the league with 79 points scored through two games, the Patriots rank third with 73 points.

For the Bills, quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has been the catalyst to some impressive offensive outputs. The 7th-year quarterback has already thrown for 472 yards and seven touchdowns to just one interception this season. Steve Johnson, David Nelson and tight end Scott Chandler have been the biggest beneficiaries so far, combining to catch 33 of Fitzpatrick's 45 completions. Last year's stagnant running game looks rejuvenated as well, averaging 5.9 yards per carry behind Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller.

The Patriots' offense, meanwhile, resembles the record-setting crew that went 16-0 during the 2007 regular season. Tom Brady, in particular, is off to a blazing start with 940 yards passing through two weeks. The Pats already have four targets with over 10 receptions on the season, and as always they feature just enough of a running game behind Benjarvus Green-Ellis and Danny Woodhead to keep defenses humble.

Neither team has shown a particular affinity towards defense this season, though the Patriots are clearly a notch or two better. New England no doubt enters the game as favorites, but Buffalo has enough backyard scrappiness to make this matchup very interesting.
