A funny thing happened on the Philadelphia Eagles' march toward the Super Bowl: They lost in Week 2. The team that had become the popular pick to win it all this year looked less that championship-worthy in their 35-31 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. While they should be the favorites agains the New York Giants this week, this game has taken on a lot more importance.
Giants Vs. Eagles: Game Time, TV Schedule, Announcers And More
The Eagles were supposed to making a run at the Super Bowl this year, but a loss in Week 2 suddenly has them in must-win mode against the Giants.
Michael Vick didn't do his defense any favors on Sunday, turning the ball over three times. The quarterback threw one interception and fumbled three times, losing two. That he threw two touchdowns hardly made up for those turnovers.
The Giants are still looking for their first complete performance. They looked better in Week 2 than they were in Week 1, but still were less than impressive. Eli Manning threw an interception for the seventh straight time and they have yet to receive a solid performance from either of their running backs.
