Kenny Britt Injury: Titans Wide Receiver Officially Out After Injuring Knee

The Tennessee Titans will have to do without Kenny Britt for at least the rest of Sunday. The Tennessean’s Jim Wyatt reports that the Titans have officially ruled Britt out of the rest of their game against the Denver Broncos.

Britt injured his knee on a first half play that saw him fumble as his knee buckled, and he was carted off the field and originally listed as questionable to return. It’s unclear where, specifically, Britt was hurt, but it’s a safe assumption that the apparent knee injury and a nagging hamstring injury were at least enough to make his return not worth the risk for the Titans today.

Britt has been a star early in the 2011 NFL season, with 100-yard receiving games in each of his first two outings. He had three catches for 18 yards before leaving Sunday’s game.

Here’s the rest of the Week 3 NFL Schedule. For more on the Titans, head over to Music City Miracles. For more on the Broncos, check out Mile High Report. Follow all the Week 3 NFL action SB Nation NFL.
