Buccaneers Vs Falcons: Tampa Bay Leads Atlanta Through The First Half

Josh Freeman has Tampa Bay’s only touchdown thanks to a one-yard goal line scramble. His score and two field goals have the Buccaneers leading their division rivals, the Atlanta Falcons, by a score of 13-3 at the half.

Matt Ryan is 14 -for-24 for 152 yards and one interception. Most surprising of all is that running back Michael Turner has just nine yards on seven carries as the Falcons struggled through two quarters of play.

Tampa running back LeGarrette has 23 yards on nine carries. Their defense has played a solid game. Rookie defensive end Adrian Claybourn has a sack, one of two Tampa Bay sacks on Matt Ryan.

Atlanta pulled out a big win over the Eagles last week. After that game, they will not be eager to drop a game to their division rivals, the upstart Buccaneers.
