The Washington Redskins will meet the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football and when they take the field they should have an old friend available: SS LaRon Landry. Dan Hellie of NBC Washington reports Landry will play -- and start -- on Monday against the Cowboys.
LaRon Landry Will Reportedly Start For Redskins On Monday Night Football
This is big news for the Redskins as Landry has been missing in action since Week 10 of last year. Just a couple weeks ago, reports were suggesting that he could be out for a longer period of time.
Landry said earlier this week that he would be active for this game but considering he’d been out for so long that was hardly a slam dunk. He’s been suffering from an Achilles injury since last year and suffered a hamstring injury during training camp.
Landry is one of the best safeties in football and his presence will be needed if the Redskins hope to topple the Cowboys in Dallas.
You can imagine there are more than a few happy Redskins fans at SB Nation’s Hogs Haven.
