After Tony Romo and his fractured rib and punctured lung beat the Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football the headlines looked something like this:

You get it. Romo was...gutsy. He was hailed as a "hero" for his "courageous" effort. If you thought it was a little over the top, you're not alone. Brian Orakpo, the Redskins linebacker, would agree.
“To me they blown it way out of proportion,” the linebacker said on ESPN 980’s John Thompson Show on Tuesday, via DC Sports Bog. “I mean, they tried to make it seem like the guy was hospitalized the night before the game, just so we could build it up if they was to win the game - oh he’s a courageous player to go out there and play. The guy was playing just like Tony Romo, running around, making throws. He got hit throughout the whole game and still getting up. I mean, it was blown way out of proportion, but it is what it is.”
A punctured lung is pretty damn serious but there's some truth to what Orakpo's saying. Romo ended the game with 250 yards passing, no touchdowns and one interception. The Cowboys didn't even put up one offensive touchdown.
i wonder what the story line would have been if the Cowboys lost that game.
