The Dallas Cowboys joined the NFL record books after their 18-16 victory over the Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football by playing in their ninth consecutive game decided by three points or less. Redskins Vs. Cowboys: Dallas Sets NFL Record In Victory
If you're a Cowboys fan, like those at Blogging The Boys, you have a rookie -- kicker Dan Bailey -- to thank for yet another dramatic game, this time a victory.
If the Cowboys are going to continue to play so many close games--and, until they are healthy again, I think they will--they are going to need a consistent, clutch kicker. Bailey's performance certainly allays concerns about the kicking game for the moment...and can't bode well for David Buehler's tenure in a Cowboys uniform.
The Cowboys will meet the Lions in Week 4 and, Detroit fans, you've been warned: this one will be a nailbiter.
