Dez Bryant is expected to play Monday night against the Washington Redskins according to ESPN's Ed Werder. Bryant sat out Week 2 with a thigh contusion, but should provide a major boost for the Dallas Cowboys with Miles Austin out Monday with a hamstring injury. Via Evan Silva of NBC Sports:
Dez Bryant Injury Update: WR Expected To Play Monday Night Against Redskins
ESPN’s Ed Werder on
#Cowboys WR Dez Bryant (quad): “He’s been punctual for treatment all week bc he knows he could play a huge role” on MNF.
There is no word yet as to whether Bryant will be limited in the game, but there is no doubting that he is an explosive talent. Bryant had three catches for 71 yards and a touchdown in the Cowboys' season opening loss to the New York Jets. He should see even more targets than usual with Austin out, as should Jesse Holley, Kevin Ogletree and tight end Jason Witten.
