Redskins Vs. Cowboys Score Update: Teams Trade Early Field Goals

Nothing spectacular, but the Redskins started Monday Night Football off with a field goal to take an early 3-0 lead on the Cowboys in this NFC East showdown. On the ensuing drive, the Cowboys matched them to knot the score at 3-3.

Even if the drive wasn't thrilling, Washington surely enjoyed watching the inconsistent leg of kicker Graham Gano sending the ball through the uprights from 46 yards out. Santana Moss had a pair of catches on the drive and Chris Cooley picked up a key first down while lined up as a fullback.

And as for Steve Young's prediction that Rex Grossman is headed for a Top 10 QB season (!!!), well Sexy Rexy was 3-for-5 on his first drive for 30 yards. See you in Canton, sir.

Tony Romo followed that up by taking the Cowboys 57 yards on nine plays, leading to a 41-yard make from kicker Dan Bailey.
