Jason Hatcher Injury: Cowboys Defensive End Out For The Game

Dallas Cowboys starting defensive end Jason Hatcher suffered a calf injury in second quarter against the Washington Redskins. Ed Werder of ESPN reports that Hatcher will miss the remainder of the game and will be replaced by former first round pick Marcus Spears at defensive end. Hatcher just became a starter in the Cowboys 3-4 defense this season having played as a rotational player with the Cowboys for the past five seasons. In the first two games, Hatcher had two sacks.

Marcus Spears will replace Hatcher for the game, a former starter for the Cowboys originally drafted in the first round by Bill Parcells. Spears started for the Cowboys in 2010, missing half the season with an injury and losing his starting gig this year.
