Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo just completed the longest 2-yard pass ever. Center Phil Costa snapped the football over Romo's head, for what looked like a sure 20 yard loss. Romo scrambled for the ball, picked it up, and then... completed a 2-yard pass to wide receiver Laurent Robinson. I guess that's better than the 20-25 yard loss that the Cowboys surely would have ate if Romo just went down.
Redskins Vs. Cowboys: Tony Romo Completes Longest 2-Yard Pass Ever
The next play Romo throws an interception to defensive back Kevin Barnes, on a play where Kevin Ogletree ran the wrong route according to Jon Gruden. The Cowboys have been flirting with disaster the entire game, including Romo giving an ode to the NBA lockout by dribbling the football while being sacked by Redskins outside linebacker Ryan Kerrigan. Romo's got two fumbles and an interception so far.
The Redskins marched down the field and scored a touchdown, Rex Grossman to running back Tim Hightower, to capitalize on the Cowboys turnover. It was Tim Hightower's first regular season touchdown reception of his career.
