That means the team could be preparing for the Bucs game with Painter as their starter. Considering the Colts have had one of the greatest quarterbacks in history over the last 13 years, this is quite a step down.
Painter entered the Steelers game in relief last week completing 5-of-11 passes for 60 yards. Last season Painter had just eight completions on 28 attempts for 83 yards. Experience certainly isn’t his strong suit.
