Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant sat out Friday's practice to continue working on his balky quad. Bryant has been dealing with the quad injury through much of the season and it appears to be flaring up once again. Bryant was limited in practice on Wednesday but then sat out Thursday and Friday, which would seem to indicate the situation has gotten somewhat worse.
Dez Bryant Injury Update: Cowboys WR Sits Out Start Of Friday Practice
It is possible having to make the quick turnaround is having some effect on Bryant, but whatever the case he is questionable for Sunday and will be a game-time decision. The Cowboys have a 1:00pm ET game, which does make the process a bit easier for deciding whether to sit or start him.
While his absence would hurt Tony Romo, the Cowboys QB does still have his favorite target, tight end Jason Witten. Romo wasn't exactly spectacular fantasy-wise in the Monday Night victory and a game against the Lions is a tough one for him. It's not looking like a good matchup.
