Jeff Fisher To Coach Rams, Not Dolphins, According To Report

The Jeff Fisher sweepstakes has reportedly come to an end. According to reports, the former Tennessee Titans head coach will team up with Sam Bradford and the St. Louis Rams for the 2012 season and the foreseeable future.

Fisher's decision came down to the Rams and the Miami Dolphins, a choice he had been mulling over for at least a couple weeks. Both teams offered solid foundations on which to build a potential playoff contender, but only the Rams offered a comfortable quarterback situation as well as the No. 2 pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.

Fisher had been head coach of the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans franchise from 1994-2010, going to the Super Bowl in 2000 which he lost, funny enough, to Kurt Warner and the Rams.

For more reactions to Fisher’s decision, head over to the SB Nation blogs Turf Show Times and The Phinsider. Also be sure to head over to check out all of the 2012 Offseason NFL Moves.
