The San Diego Chargers head coach is on the hottest of hot seats and many around the league expect him to be fired as the Chargers head coach following another season of missing the playoffs. The Chargers beat the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, 38-26, but their playoff hopes had already been dashed the week before.
Norv Turner Awaits Word On His Future As Chargers Head Coach
The Chargers season is over so the speculation now centers upon Norv Turner and his future as the Chargers head coach. Many around the league expect him to be fired.


Speculation now turns to Turner, who many expect to be fired. A decision on his future isn’t expected to come down on Monday, although it could be this week.
Turner is 76-48 in his career at San Diego but they won nine games last season and just eight this season. The San Diego Union Tribune reported in early December that many around the Chargers facility expect Turner to be fired.
The other question after Turner is whether GM A.J. Smith will stick around. The Union Tribune previously reported that he could be an option in St. Louis if the Chargers decide to fire him. His status is currently unknown.
