Giants’ Brandon Jacobs: ‘I Would Not Want To Face The Giants In The Playoffs’

The New York Giants will be hosting the Atlanta Falcons on Wildcard weekend as they try to do what the 2007 Giants were able to do -- win the Super Bowl. Those Giants played on Wild Card weekend as well and improbably made a run at the Super Bowl and eventually won it.

Giants RB Brandon Jacobs says he sees similarities between the '07 team and this one.

“I would not want to face the New York Giants in the playoffs right now. I got the same feeling [that I had in 2007]. There’s a lot of guys that are here that weren’t here a couple of years ago when we went [to the Super Bowl in 2007], but it’s the same kind of feeling that I have. It’s basically the same road as well.”

The Giants, like the Falcons, are a balanced team. The defensive line is good enough to pressure the quarterback which helps the secondary. Eli Manning continues to play really well. They won't be an easy out (and neither will the Falcons).
