Mike Tice Will Replace Mike Martz As Bears Offensive Coordinator

Chicago Bears offensive line coach Mike Tice will replace Mike Martz as the Bears offensive coordinator, according to a report by Jay Glazer of FOX Sports. Tice has experience on the offensive side of the football during his tenure in the NFL, mostly dealing with the offensive line and tight ends.

Tice had served as the offensive line coach for the Bears since the 2009 season. Prior to that, Tice was the "assistant head coach: offense" and coached the tight ends for the Jacksonville Jaguars. As Glazer reports, Tice will be focused on the running game for the Bears while another coach will be paired with him to deal with the passing game duties.
