Steelers Vs. Broncos, 2012 AFC Wild Card: Pittsburgh Strikes First With Shaun Suisham 45-Yard Field Goal

Isaac Redman opened the Pittsburgh Steelers' first drive of the game with a two-yard run. After an incomplete pass and a Denver Broncos neutral zone infraction, Pittsburgh converted a third-and-three when Ben Roethlisberger, bum ankle and all, hit tight end Heath Miller for an eight-yard gain and first down.

Big Ben went right back to Miller, hitting him on a seam route for a big 33-yard pickup.

Things stalled out after that. Redman picked up three yards, an incomplete pass to Antonio Brown and a two-yard gain to Mike Wallace on third-and-seven.

Shaun Suisham put the Steelers on the board with a 45-yard field goal in the crisp, dry Denver air.

SB Nation's NFL bloggers made predictions for Wild Card weekend and here's a look at the updated NFL playoffs schedule for Sunday. Check out Mile High Report for the latest on the Denver Broncos and Behind the Steel Curtain for the latest on the Steelers.
