On Saturday that led to some TV ratings that, while good for any other show on TV, were lower-than-usual for the NFL. This should put to bed any questions about whether or not John Elway wants Tebow to fail, no? Even if he doesn’t think Tebow is the long-term answer for the Broncos, there’s no faking the kind of emotion Elway shows here. He was obviously genuinely happy for Tebow and his team, and anyone who sees this should probably stop questioning whether or not Elway is being sincere when he has good things to say about his quarterback.

Texas A&M Might Just Sue The Denver Broncos
Just about an hour after the Denver Broncos pulled off a wild win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round of the NFL playoffs, someone had to rain on the parade. Denver was in a state of jubilation, and the cheers hadn’t even died down when Texas A&M hopped into the fray all angry about something. That something was -- you guessed it -- the use of “12th Man.”
That’s the Texas A&M VP of Marketing and Communications essentially threatening a lawsuit on Twitter almost immediately after the game ended. Again: A man I’m assumed is trained in public relations used Twitter to threaten an NFL team, moments after an absolutely enthralling nationally-televised game.

While the no-call ultimately didn’t matter — Tebow’s touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas in overtime won the game for the Broncos — it could have affected the outcome, and you can be sure that the Broncos will try to make it a point of emphasis for their AFC Divisional round game against the New England Patriots.

Steelers Vs. Broncos, 2012 AFC Wild Card: Roethlisberger Touchdown Pass Ties It, 23-23
Some say the Pittsburgh Steelers defense is old. Other might say that age makes them savvy. Ryan Monday sure looked savvy stripping the ball out of Willis MaGahee’s hands, forcing a fumble that the Steelers were able to recover at their own 44-yard line.
Pittsburgh took a shot at the end zone from the Denver 31-yard line on their new set of downs. Roethlisberger almost got picked off, but it landed incomplete. Roethlisberger went deep again, and this time hit Jericho Cotchery in the middle of the end zone for a 31-yard touchdown.

Steelers Vs. Broncos, 2012 AFC Wild Card: Pittsburgh Scores To Cut Denver’s Lead, 20-13
The Steelers may want to review forward passes versus laterals once their season ends, which could be sooner rather than later the way things are going in this game. Pittsburgh got a big break when Denver opted not to challenge the call. From there, the Steelers marched down the field before finally scoring their first touchdown to cut the Broncos’ lead to 20-13.
Pittsburgh executed a prefect screen on their second play of the drive. Heath Miller picked up 10 yards on that play, but it wasn’t enough since they were at second-and-13 thanks to an illegal substitution penalty. A three-yard gain on a pass to Antonio Brown. Then came the lateral, where the Steelers got a big break.
