Tim Tebow’s First NFL Playoffs Drive In Steelers Vs. Broncos: Three And Out

Tim Tebow's first drive in his first appearance in the NFL playoffs hewed to the typically conservative game plans the Denver Broncos use. It was also unsuccessful, in keeping with the Broncos' struggles early in games in the 2011 NFL season.

The Broncos went three and out on the drive. A Tebow run for little gain and a fumble by Willis McGahee that was recovered by the Broncos set up a third and long, and Tebow fired well wide of his intended receiver on that pass play.

As CBS’ Jim Nantz noted on air, that extended Denver’s streak of drives without a touchdown to 20, dating back to the third quarter of the Broncos’ Week 15 loss to Buffalo.

SB Nation’s NFL bloggers made predictions for Wild Card weekend and here’s a look at the updated NFL playoffs schedule for Sunday. Check out Behind the Steel Curtain for the latest on the Steelers and Mile High Report for the latest on the Broncos.
