NFL Week 4 in pictures

Another wild week in the NFL is almost finished. Join us for a look back at the best of Week 4 in pictures.

Week 4 in the NFL was about familiar faces and the return of old friends, er, sort of friends. The league’s normal, experienced referees returned to action this week. It took 48 hours from Monday night’s controversial finish in Seattle to soften the league’s position and get a new, eight-year labor deal done.

The refs were not the only story this week. The league's three undefeated teams are still undefeated, but it was close. The Arizona Cardinals and Atlanta Falcons both needed the final seconds of play to hold off troublesome opponents and lock up a fourth win. Things were a little easier for the Houston Texans, who also stayed at 4-0.

On the other side of the coin are the teams still chasing their first win a quarter of the way through the 2012 NFL season. The New Orleans Saints played the Green Bay Packers in a game that was in line with what you might expect from those two teams, an offensive showdown. Cleveland played a tough game against the Ravens, but came up short in their bid for win No. 1.

Fans cheered. Cheerleaders danced. Referees worked. Owners probably made more money.
