Seahawks Vs. Rams, Week 4: St. Louis enjoys ‘team win’ while Greg Zuerlein is praised

The Rams kicker’s record-breaking performance is just one of the bright spots from St. Louis’s victory over Seattle.

The St. Louis Rams' victory over the Seattle Seahawks proved a game full of positives for Rams' faithful, as St. Louis returned to .500 on the season on the strength of some key performances around the field.

Over at Turf Show Times, the guys were happy with what they called a "team win in the truest sense of the word." In surprising, but not too surprising fashion, after he kicked a team-record 60-yard field goal, the biggest praise was reserved for kicker Greg Zuerlein.

This kid is just this side of a kicking freak. I take more steps hitting out of a sand trap than young Greg does before he kicks the ball. Simply amazing leg strength, and the possibility he’d actually pop a football someday isn’t out of the question.

Rams defensive end Robert Quinn was also showered with praise, after battling all day in the trenches.

Robert Quinn is turning into a pure defensive end beast. He was against a very good left offensive tackle today in Russell Okung, and he had him on his heals or frantically wheeling around to stay with him all day.

And it was the secondary that reiceved the most praise for improvement, as Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson threw three key picks.

The Rams defensive secondary is the most improved part of this team. I honestly believe this secondary - barring injury - will be in the top five secondary units in the NFL this season. Janoris Jenkins started the year out as a talented rookie. He's already exceeded anyone's expectations.
