Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon is 'battling' through the pain in his foot according to coordinator Kyle Shanahan. Garcon was injured on an 88-yard touchdown catch in Week 1 against the Saints, forcing him to miss two games. He has not been very productive in the two games since he has returned, catching just four passes for 44 yards total. The Redskins face off against the Vikings in Week 6.
Pierre Garcon injury update: ‘Battling’ through pain, fantasy status in the air
The Redskins number one receiver is still in pain from a foot injury, but will it stop him? We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Take: Fantasy owners have to be concerned if Garcon has a hitch in his step, another disappointment after a stellar start to the season. Eventually when he's healthy, I still believe that Garcon can flourish in an offense led by Robert Griffin III but it's concerning in the short term. Minnesota has the 6th ranked scoring defense in the league and they've been decent against the pass. Garcon rates as a flex option and nothing more.
