Ben Roethlisberger is the Pittsburgh Steelers' all-time leader in passing yards, surpassing Terry Bradshaw. Big Ben passed Bradshaw's record in the fourth quarter after crossing the 291-yard mark, while trailing the Tennessee Titans by a score of 16-13.

Bradshaw’s previous record with the Steelers was 27,989 passing yards. Early in the fourth quarter, Roethlisberger had 28,003 passing yards for Pittsburgh, after gaining 313 yards on the night. He entered the game needing only 287 to surpass the mark.

Getting to this point has been anything but easy for Roethlisberger. Bradshaw has been a vocal critic of Roethlisberger, and the two do not speak. In the days leading up to Thursday’s game, Roethlisberger spoke out on Bradshaw’s past criticism.

“I’ve never had an issue [with him]. He said a bunch of things in the past about me; it hurts a little bit when you think about family, but I’ve never been one to say anything to him or at him.”

Roethlisberger’s team is not offering much assistance, particularly the offensive line, which has seen player after player leave with injuries in Thursday’s game.
