Green Bay Packers round into form, whip the Texans

Yeah, that’s how he responds to critics. It’s sort of trite, but when Rodgers says it, it’s still pretty cool.

Rodgers completed 24 of 37 passes for 338 yards and six touchdowns. Nelson was the biggest beneficiary, catching nine passes for 121 yards and three scores. The Packers also had some success on the ground and finished with 427 total yards.

With the win, the Packers moved to 3-3 on the season while the Texans fell from the ranks of the undefeated and are now 5-1.

Number one? Is that still a thing?

Having already thrown four touchdown passes, Rodgers rolled to his right and with pressure in his face threw a strike to Tom Crabtree for his fifth touchdown of the game.

Rodgers fantasy owners rejoice.

Nelson makes a pretty nice grab, going up to get a perfectly placed ball from Rodgers. The quarterback’s pass is the real story here. This looks exactly like the reigning MVP, not part of a team that has struggled to find its way in the early going this season.

Clearly, someone is a Dennis Haysbert fan.

The line is likely to move throughout the week, possibly with a bigger spread predicted in favor of the Texans. As it stands, the over/under for the game is set at 48 across the board, though given the way Houston’s defense has played this season, the under might be the smart bet in this one.
