Packers vs. Rams, Week 7: Aaron Rodgers ‘nearly perfect’ in Green Bay’s 30-20 victory over St. Louis

The Green Bay Packers defeated the St. Louis Rams Sunday, 30-20, behind a strong performance from quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers was 30-of-37 for 342 yards and three touchdowns, including his 150th career touchdown. Jordy Nelson was the leading receiver for Green Bay with eight receptions for 122 yards and one touchdown, while Randall Cobb added two touchdown receptions of his own.

The win moved the Packers to 4-3, giving them their first winning record of the season. Kevin McCauley of SB Nation’s Green Bay Packers blog, Acme Packing Company, writes, simply, that Rodgers was perfect in the winning effort.

The Green Bay Packers are a winning team again. They improved their record to 4-3 with a solid beginning to end performance, defeating the St. Louis Rams 30-20. Aaron Rodgers had a nearly perfect game.

Green Bay is currently riding a two-game win streak, but they still find themselves behind both the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North. Three of the Packers' final five games of 2012 will come against the Vikings and Bears.

Green Bay's next contest comes at home next Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
