The Green Bay Packers defeated the St. Louis Rams Sunday, 30-20, behind a strong performance from quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
The win moved the Packers to 4-3, giving them their first winning record of the season. Kevin McCauley of SB Nation’s Green Bay Packers blog, Acme Packing Company, writes, simply, that Rodgers was perfect in the winning effort.

Doug PensingerOne quarter later, Cobb would add his third score of the year and effectively ice the game. Rodgers did most of the work on the critical third-and-nine play, evading pressure and rolling to his left to fire a rocket over the defense. The pass hit Cobb right in the hands as he crossed the plane, sealing Green Bay’s fourth win of the season. An animated gif of the play:
The score moved the game within a touchdown, but Rodgers quickly extinguished any chances of a comeback, responding with the amazing throw to Cobb.

Jennings will return to action eventually, but Cobb has become enough of a playmaker to warrant snaps in this offense regardless.
