Reggie Bush, Antonio Cromartie tussle early in Jets-Dolphins game

The New York Jets defense engaged in some back-and-forth trash talking in the media this week with Dolphins running back Reggie Bush, and that angst quickly carried over to the field. Miami fed Bush on their opening drive, and he responded with a quick 25 yards on four carries. Bush broke off a long 19-yard run on Miami's opening possession, moving the Fins across midfield into New York territory. Bush cut to his left and as he was heading to the sideline, he threw a nice stiff arm to the head of Antonio Cromartie.

The Jets cornerback got Bush to the ground, but both immediately went face-to-face as soon as they got up.

Cromartie was whistled for a 15-yard unnecessary roughness penalty on the play, moving the Dolphins further into New York territory. Miami came away with a field goal on the opening possession, thanks to the big Bush run and the tacked on 15 yards.
