Panthers vs. Bears: Newton fumbles, Panthers score, Newton unhappy
Despite taking the lead against the 5-1 Chicago Bears, Cam Newton wasn’t happy the Panthers scored.

Thankfully for Carolina, wide receiver Louis Murphy had the awareness to jump on the fumble, saving the play, and resulting in a Panthers touchdown. More than the score, this play will be analyzed for Cam Newton's attitude-- yet again giving cause to those who believe the quarterback shows a lack of leadership.
Instead of celebrating with his teammates, thanking Murphy for bailing him out, or showing jubilation that his team had taken the lead, Newton walked off the field and sat by himself on the bench. It took a celebrating Murphy to approach Newton, patting him on the helmet, and even then Cam looked none too pleased with what transpired. Another example of his competitiveness getting the better of him.
