The Arizona Cardinals weren't very effective against the San Francisco 49ers' on Monday Night Football. 49ers quarterback Alex Smith was able to complete all but one of his passes, and on offense, the Cardinals could only muster up seven yards in the ground game.
49ers vs. Cardinals, Week 8: Arizona fans looking for positives after loss
The Arizona Cardinals were defeated by the San Francisco 49ers in convincing fashion, 24-3. Cardinals fans are keeping their glass half full.

Still, Cardinals fans were left looking for the positives to take from such a loss. After all, this is the fourth straight defeat for Arizona after starting the season with a 4-0 record. At one point in the season, the Cardinals were being compared to the likes of the Atlanta Falcons and Houston Texans. Now Arizona is two games behind in the NFC West Division standings, with San Francisco in the lead.
What was the positive to take from this? Here’s the SB Nation Cardinals blog Revenge of the Birds with some perspective on the struggling offensive line:
I’m not saying they were perfect, because the O-line was far, far, far from that. However, they only let up 4 sacks, and when you compare that to the 31 other sacks they gave up in the last three games, that’s definitely a positive.
Next up on the Cardinals' schedule is the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. The Packers have won three straight games.
